'TikToClock,' an exciting and fun-filled show to expect soon from the Kapuso Network
GMA 7's soon-to-premiere show "TikToClock" features three hosts with different personalities - Kuya Kim Atienza, Pokwang, and Rabiya Mateo. And if only for this, Kapuso audiences can expect only the best as they project and perform their individual talents to the core.
Viewers all know about Kuya Kim from his various shows in both the Kapamilya Network and Kapuso Network. Of course, Pokwang is as well-known as Kuya Kim to audiences of both networks. But this is the first time for beauty queen Rabiya to do a hosting show. So what can viewers expect from this triumvirate? Most especially, what can they expect from each other?
In a recent mediacom via Zoom, they expressed sheer excitement and gratefulness to the Kapuso Network for giving them this show which promised, Pokwang said, "happy time to all kinds of viewers." The morning show (to be aired before "Eat Bulaga" starting on July 25) is the first GMA show with a live audience after the pandemic.
Kuya Kim said he always admired Pokwang's out-of-this-world humor. "Natural siya sa pagpapatawa," he said He recalled having worked with her as co-host in Willie Revillame's "Wowowin" show where they both had much fun of course. "That was 12 years ago. And I wished I could work with her again in a show, and this has been fulfilled through 'TikToclock.' At may bonus pa, si Rabiya."
"Aside from her humor, what I also like in Pokwang is her caring nature, maka-ina at maalaga. As to Rabiya, affected ang poise niya of course. As beauty queen, she had a reserved personality, but sa pagsama sa amin, naging cowboy siya," which was echoed by Pokwang.
On her part, Rabiya said she admires Kuya Kim for being "mabait" and with whom she and Pokwang have close bonding especially in the dressing room that they shared. "We really have good chemistry. Our common denominator is humor, but iba-iba kami."
Rabiya said that as she embarked on a hosting job, she is lucky that she has the support of Kuya Kim and Pokwang. And with them teaching her the ropes, she promised to do her best for the show.
According to Kuya Kim, "TikToclock" came at the perfect time (replacing "Mars Pa More" which he was also a co-host). With work to do, he wouldn't have much time to miss his children and feel sad for them being away, he said.
Asked about the group's weakness or strength, Kuya Kim said "I don't want to focus on weakness, but on our strength as a group. Out-of-the-box ang chemistry namin. Our attitude ang all-out in our strength. But still, all three of us are willing to learn along the way."
Kuya Kim, Pokwang and Rabiya promised nothing but happy time and blessings for viewers, so watch out for the premiere of "TikToclock" on July 25, 11-12noon, before "Eat Bulaga."
