Do you want to help build communities of action?  Rappler is opening two positions under Rappler's Community unit, who can support our ongoing efforts on campaign mobilization and community-focused content!  Since you are part of the Rappler community, we are prioritizing sharing this opportunity with you –  along with our valued partners, fellows, former interns, and volunteers.  You might be interested to apply for the following positions:  Community and civic engagement specialist A community and civic engagement specialist leads online and onground community building events and advocacy campaigns, and works on solutions- and community-focused content. These advocacies touch on countering disinformation and promoting media and information literacy, active civic engagement, disaster response and management, among others. They're also expected to work with community leaders and coalitions to help advance these advocacies. This entails monitoring and reporting the outcome of distribution and community-building efforts; and maintaining the growth of Rappler channels.  They also design and implement campaigns focused on optimizing audience journey and experience, online content marketing, and distribution strategies. Key local candidates' profiles will be out in late March, in time for the local campaign period. Election guides and explainers - What is premature campaigning? What are dates to remember? What are the election violations? We have you covered with our comprehensive guides. Live videos, breaking news, and updates - Watch the biggest campaign moments unfold on our site, including candidates' fora, rallies, voter issues, and more. Journalists, civic engagement specialists, and volunteers on the ground will be updating this newsfeed daily. Report violations, talk to our staff - Through our voter-hotline chat room with the Comelec, you can report election violations like vote-buying or ask questions about the election process.
