THE City Health Office has noted the continuous increase in the number of new cases in Cagayan de Oro, recording one locally stranded individual (LSI) and 50 local cases.

The recovery rate has also gone down to 87.31 percent after the city recorded 18 Covid-19 recoveries, bringing the total number of those who have recovered from the disease to 4,177.

GOVERNOR Dennis Pineda recently distributed P6.10 million worth of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) antigen test machines and test kits to the cities and municipalities of Pampanga to speed up efforts to contain the virus.

He said various law enforcement units conducted 2,359 operations from April 9 to 26, 2021.

They seized shabu and marijuana, and arrested 3,220 individuals. Authorities killed 34 during operations while 53 surrendered.

THE Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday, April 29, 2021, reported less than 10,000 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in a day for the 11th consecutive day.

ANOTHER 500,000 doses of the Sinovac vaccine against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) arrived in the country early Thursday, April 29, 2021.

The vaccines were arrived via Cebu Pacific at 7:35 a.m. at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2, completing Sinovac's commitment to deliver 1.5 million doses of government-procured vaccines for the month of April.
