It's nice to see Cherry Mobile going more premium and more competitive in the budget midrange smartphone space.

The Aqua S10 Pro has been anticipated for quite a while now as the local manufacturer have teased it on their Facebook page just a few weeks ago. The phone uses a Mediatek Helio G90 chipset and a rear fingerprint scanner. The phone is a badge-engineered variant of the BLU G91 Pro which is in turn a badge-engineered Gionee M15. Hence these three phones would offer similar if not identical specs.

Now that Cherry has released the phone for sale in Shopee, Lazada as well as their website, we finally have confirmations on what the device looks like as well as specs. The Mediatek Helio G90 processor a toned-down G90T. This chipset is also seen on another Cherry device called the Aqua S9 Max. It comes with a quad camera setup involving a 48mp Samsung GM1 main sensor and a bunch of other junk (5mp ultrawide, 2mp depth and 2mp macro). For selfies, it uses a 16mp shooter. For the first time, Cherry has delivered a phone that is based on a dot notch instead of a dewdrop or a waterdrop notch.

The phone is equipped with 18W fast charging coupled with a standard 5000mAh battery. Like its US relative, the Blu G91 Pro, this comes with 10W wireless charging which is a rare sight to see on a budget, even if it isn't fast charging.

For the display, the phone uses a 6.5in. FHD+ IPS LCD screen. It runs on stock Android 11 which means you won't see bloatware here, well, other than the usual Google apps that is.

The phone is available now at a price of Php7,999 and comes with one configuration option: 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Below are the places where you can buy the phone.

The phone will be available on a discount on its debut sale today, so be sure to check out the official portals.
