How to use gymnastics equipment for flare learning
Hi today we are gonna review the flair machine from gymnastics forza
Easy to set up takes just a few seconds if you find where to mount it, even some calisthenics playground maybe appropriate to start your training
It's great not only for athletes but for coaches as well as you can properly build a good strength and coordination pattern within hip flexors, core and shoulders.
There are few ways you can spot anyone while you working with that machine and give a correct direction for flair development It might be a little tricky when you first try it but with a little bit of practice it's all going along the way
Basic bodyweight shift from one arm to another and kicks are very useful to proceed with as well as understanding of straight body posture while moving around to save the axis and therefore momentum which you will be using afterwards in the very similar way in flair.
The drills you spot eventually will be doable and make more sense to your students, although you can always create a new ways and build more complicated progressions depending on your current level It's fun to train and easy to spot and definitely makes coaching approach easier in terms of lifting and explanation the high technical skills
Also when kids start to pick up the movement they have a lot fun by doing the same element in a new way
Not only progressions but also Conditioning takes a good place while you will work with this equipment
Strengthening spine extensors and upper body while also maintaining a good range of motion with kicks makes the successful performance and eventually lead to flare learning
You can also practice some of the presses, handstand holds and turns plus do mobility exercises to keep training safe
When train make sure to stay under the anchor where you mount the straps to keep even bodyweight distribution and better balance
Overall it made a great difference to our training routine, the quality of the equipment is pretty solid and you can be sure it will do its job and will make it comfortable, it's always amazing to find new approaches for better results
