What happens in your last breath, Kryon calls the Spark. After your last breath, the linearization of your life stops because the consciousness that leaves your body is multidimensional. That Spark is you going, "Oh, thank you." And you remember it all and realize the magnificence of the Soul that you are. You're greeted by the multitudes who sing your name and say, "Welcome back home." Kryon redefines ascension. Ascension is when a living Human Being has a piece of the Spark and, at some point, there is a realization all at once, and they realize they are magnificent in the eyes of God and that love means more than they ever thought. It's not the same Spark as what you receive during death, it's a modified one. It's a spark of awareness of who you are.
