This is partly about the culture. Partly about allyship. It's mostly an observation. Not using real names.
OK, Betina loves to protect Ted. If you say anything negative about Ted, she will immediately excuse herself from the room and rat you TF out. Betina is truly the dog that brings you a bone but leaves with two. This is not to say she didn't rat Ted out from time to time. It's always Betina's terms.
Betina will air out all your dirty laundry if you give it to her.
One day, Ted chided her, and it irked her so badly that she let out a slew of homophobic insults behind his back. I mean shit that could get you fired, but she wanted to be mean, hurtful, and hateful in a very passive-aggressive manner. There are other incidents, and the hatred for Ted comes right out.
There was even a performance. I'm sparing y'all all the language and dance that comes with this mess. Apparently, there are other people who happen to get this type of attack from Betina. She the ally, though?
Betina goes deeper than a hater. A hater just petty. Going in on a friend like that? She hates everything about Ted and a few other people she's supposed to be allied to.
