Review
Sometimes it's great to play a game that's a little outside of the norm, I find this a chance to look at a title I maybe wouldn't have thought to look at originally. Home Sheep Home Farmageddon: Party Edition is definitely on that list as a bit of a different game targeted more for the younger audience with a more casual approach, this game is full of fun little puzzle games that you have to solve to move along. As much as I probably hate to admit it I actually found this pretty fun and saw myself getting quite into the game after a few successful puzzle solves, you just can't help but love the cute nature of the game.
Although it's pretty obvious the game is geared towards the younger generation of gamers from the characters but the actual gameplay is pretty addictive and quite fun to play. Stack up Shaun and his friends to achieve the goals and solve the puzzles with some being more straight forward than others and I'll be honest some even perplexed me a little but still has fun solving it all the same.
I like how the different characters or sheep all have their own part to play and you need to utilise these to get through the levels and beat the puzzles once you master this you will see yourself flying through the levels in no time at all.
The game is a bit of a giggle by yourself but the game is obviously geared towards party play and encourages the couch co-op gameplay where you work through the game together, it isn't really a game for seasoned gamers to come together and have a good gaming sesh this is more for the family to enjoy in a fun for all kind of game.
Graphics and Sound
In a kind of obvious way the developers have gone for a comic cartoon style with the graphics in a way that runs with the family feel of the game, graphically it doesn't blow you away but this isn't a cinematic title this is purely a good bit of family fun with the graphics purely there to tell the story.
The soundtrack of the game is all good fun and links in well with the game. The in game sounds are as expected and relate well to the childrens tv character that the game comes from. The sounds are fun focused which allows the game to give a good all round family friendly fun experience.
Summary
Time now then to put my thoughts into a summary, overall I felt the game does what it sets out to do - get the family gaming together with a good bit of family friendly fun. Would I buy it and play it solidly probably not but if you have children of a certain age and you want to spend a bit of time gaming with them then this is a good bet for you.

I give Home Sheep Home Farmageddon: Party Edition a good score of 3 not pulling up any trees or reinventing any wheels with this title but in terms of does it do what it sets out to do? then yes, a good bit of family fun - well worth picking up especially if you have kids that are fans of the TV shows.
