Revenge of the Sheep was filled with creative puzzling and unique tactile interactions. While I'll admit I was initially underwhelmed by a somewhat sparse set, the game quickly won me over with its high density of joyous gameplay.
clueQuest's missions all revolve, in some form, around saving the world from the evil machinations of Professor BlackSheep. In Revenge of the Sheep, we were tasked with shutting down the Professor's newest SheepMutator device that would turn all the humans into sheep. And this is where the game's core comedic cleverness came into play. The SheepMutator beacons could have taken the form of any random forgettable gizmos. But instead, they were cleverly disguised as British post boxes. Yup, those lanky red hexagonal prisms. After successfully completing our mission in-game, I spent the rest of the day gawking at every post box around London, wondering what fantastical plots they might conceal — which is precisely the sort of transformation of the mundane I love to see emanate past the walls of an escape room.

If you visit clueQuest to play ORIGENES, I recommend also adding Revenge of the Sheep to your itinerary, ideally prior to playing ORIGENES. Revenge of the Sheep embodies clueQuest's distinctive style of gameplay and world-building, and you'll appreciate some of the Easter eggs in ORIGENES that harken back to clueQuest's earlier experiences.
