Portfolio's Performance

October has been a negative month for the US stock market.
All three US major indexes closed the month with a loss the S&P 500 closed at -2.20%, the Nasdaq -2.78% and the Dow Jones -1.36%.
Because of this, my portfolio in October decreased by 1.55%, but has performed better than the big US indexes.

Market Forecast

The next two months of the year are usually positive for trading.

Today, 1 November, two important data are going to be released that could have an impact on the financial markets.

The Federal Reserve, at 18:00 GMT, will announce the next monetary policy decision. Investors are expecting a pause, so the interest rate will stay steady in a range of 5.25% to 5.5%.

Jerome Powell will attend a press conference half an hour later. The attention will be on the possibility of another rate hike in December.

The US job market data influence the next interest rate decisions. Today are going to be published the JOLTs Job Openings for September 2023 that are expected to be less than the previous months.

The stock market sentiment is in Fear mode.

47% ETFs
10% Cash

Recommendations

These are my recommendations for copiers and anyone who wants to invest in my portfolio:

1. Be patient and remain calm
2. Keep the copy open for long-term
3. Invest more than 2,000 USD
