Where to start? How about book sales? I sold 210 books this year, up from 126. Now, I did have another book and without that I would have 136 sales (and 126 angry readers because book two of my trilogy ends on a cliffhanger)
It does work out to 0.58 books/day, though.
Royalties? Do you know how much I make for each book? It's not that much, and since I lowered the price of two of them to $0.99, it's ever less. But Indie authors aren't in it for the money. [insert collective gasp from writers here]
I vowed not to spend any money on promotions this year, therefore, I spent some money on promotions this year.
Top 10 shows/movies I watched (and enjoyed):
10. Rick and Morty
9. Futurama
8. Letterkenny
7. Shorsey
6. The Curse of Oak Island - C'mon, there's gotta be something down there, right?
5. Barbie
4. Sports - Not all, but some.
3. WKRP - I found two seasons on an old hard drive
2. Red Dwarf - I found all seasons on that same hard drive
1. ?
Wondering what the last one is? Me too. Maybe The White Lotus?
Shall we end today with my final book review?
Wait! There's a bit more:
On my blog this week:
Final Friday: Top Ten Conversations - Or all of them.
Thursday Thoughts: The Next Top Ten- Funny things
Weird Wednesday Dec. 27th: Time to start the Top 10s - My favorite cartoons of the year as voted by me.
Tuesday Tirade: 'Twas the day after Christmas. - You knew there was going to be one
Music Monday Dec 25: Laura Lynch- Tragic death but I discovered some very good early Dixie Chicks songs.
Hope you enjoyed the recap! Feel free to share it with others.
