I have absolutely no plans to celebrate New Year's Eve. Why? If I may speak comedically, "Doesn't my new year start on my birthday?"
Oh, I used to stay up. I don't think I ever purchased a ticket to go to an organized celebration. In university, we would stay up past midnight on a regular basis anyway, so it wasn't a challenge on December 31st and it usually involved the same amount of drinking.
"Oh, but you'll miss the fireworks," you say.
Well, I say there is a much better way to spend $6 million (Sydney)/$2M (London)/$6M (New York)/$1M (Paris), etc. You get the picture.
On that note, If it has already occurred for you, I hope it was a fun and safe one, If you are still waiting, have a fun and safe one.
