Tickets to Aliw Awards sold out

The Aliw Awards Foundation, Inc. Secretariat has announced that tickets to the December 11, 2023 awards rites to be held at the Manila Hotel Centennial Hall are sold out.
Fans who wish to attend the dinner-show will just have to wait for any cancellations a day before the event.
Reservations for the much-awaited event will have to be paid up a week before the awards night.
The annual event, anticipated by the entire live entertainment industry, will honor the cream of Filipino live entertainers, based on their performances from October 31, 2022 to October 31, 2023.
Who will be this year's Entertainer of the Year? The lucky one will come among Erik Santos, Sharon Cuneta, Piolo Pascual, Jade Riccio, Gigi Fe Lana, Derfald Santos and Gerphil Flores
Over 50 category winners will receive their Aliw trophies this year Also to be awarded are the Lifetime Achievement awardees, Hall of Fame awardees, AHR Achievement awardees, Legacy awardees and Excellence awardees.
The recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award are Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, Beverly Salviejo, Fe de los Reyes, Odette Quesads and Monino Duque.
Among the past Lifetime Achievement awardees include Nora Aunor, Ryan Cayabyab, Lea Salonga,Kuh Ledesma, Shirley Halili Cruz and Jose Mari Chan.
For the second time in the Aliw history, the Aliw Awards Foundation will be presenting Legacy Awards to individuals who have made a mark in their respective fields of endeavors. Last year's awardees were Shirley Halili Cruz, Persida Rueda Acosta, Jo Mari Chan and Nona Ricafort.

This year's Legacy awardees are Lisa Macuja Elizalde for dance; Boots Anson-Roa for live entertainment; Cecile Guidote Alvarez for theater; Dante Arevalo Ang for public relations and publishing, Ramon S. Ang for entrepreneurship and philanthropy; and Boy Abunda for broadcast media and live entertainment.

Legacy awardees have paved the way for the next generation and are the guiding lights that inspire the youth to strive for success.
Three-time Entertainer of the Year Ogie Alcasid heads the list of performers. Beverly Salviejo, who will receive her Lifetime Achievement Award, will perform the Aliw theme song composed by Hall of Famer Pipo Cifra. The other performers are Carla Guevara Laforteza, Nina Campos, Kathy Hipolito Mas, Nicole Laurel Asencio, Janah Zaplan, Sherwin Sozon, Jade Riccio, Bo Razon, Myra Mae Meneses, Ephesus and the RMA Ensemble.
AAFI PRO and director Joey Nombres is confident that with the cooperation of the winners, this year's awards presentation will be limited to three hours at most. Past awards nights have lasted for over five hours.
The 36th Annual awards night, on the foundation's 46th year, is supported by PCSO, Gresenfield Development Corporation, PAGCOR, San Miguel Dela Corporation, Lunguard, Sante, Ascorbic Acid with Zinc with donors Mogu Mogu, Silka Papaya, McDonald's, Lilies et Water, Aficionado, Edwin Lisa, Aberdeen court, among others.
Media partners of the event are the Aliw Broadcasting Corporation, Rising Tigers magazine, Manila Times, Journal Group of Publications, United News, Manila Bulletin and Philippine Star.
Guests are urged to come before 6pm on December 11, so that the program can start promptly at 7pm after an early dinner.
