Ready to sway to the beat of Hoyoverse's newest Harmony character? With this Honkai Star Rail Robin guide, we'll be going over the talented singer's abilities and learning which relics and light cones work best with her.
The release of Honkai Star Rail patch 2.2 brings with it a new banner that will give Trailblazers the chance to recruit the Physical Harmony unit. Featured prominently in the Trailblaze Missions that take place on Penacony, Robin has easily become one of the most popular players in the game.
With Ms. Robin on your team, you'll be gaining party-wide buffs that will amplify everyone's damage output. You also get the added bonus of being able to listen to one of Robin's catchy songs for the duration of her Ultimate.
Robin Abilities
Characters that walk the path of Harmony in Honkai Star Rail usually have a big impact on any lineup as they can make or break a perfect Memory of Chaos or Pure Fiction run.
Here's how Robin can help you get those 3-star clears:
- Wingflip White Noise (Basic Attack) – deal damage to a single target that scales off of Robin's Attack
- Pinion's Aria (Skill) – boost the Damage dealt by all allies for three turns
- Vox Harmonique, Opus Cosmique (Ultimate) – Robin enters the Concerto state and makes all allies take action immediately. While in the Concerto state, Robin is immune to crowd control effects, boosts the Attack of all party members based on a portion of her own Attack, and deals additional Physical damage every time an ally launches an attack
- Tonal Resonance (Talent) – Robin gains two Energy every time an ally attacks and boosts the Critical Damage of the entire party
- Overture of Inebriation (Technique) – create a dimension around Robin that lasts for 15 seconds. Enemies caught inside this dimension will not attack and follow the character. Robin will gain five Energy at the start of each enemy wave when entering battle while the dimension is active
Robin Traces

Robin's buffs become more potent after upgrading her Traces. You can farm the materials needed for this from the Crimson Calyx found in the Dreamscape version of The Reverie on Penacony.
- Coloratura Cadenza (Ascension 2) – Robin's action is advanced forward by 25% at the start of battle
- Impromptu Flourish (Ascension 4) – Critical Damage dealt by Follow-Up Attacks from allies is increased by 25% while Robin is in the Concerto state
- Sequential Passage (Ascension 6) – Robin generates an extra five Energy when using her Skill
Robin's minor traces offer a healthy mix of additional Speed, HP, and Attack.
Best Light Cones for Robin
Light Cones for the path of Harmony in Honkai Star Rail are quite diverse so it's important to pick and choose the most effective ones for Penacony's top celebrity. Here are the best Light Cones to use on Robin.
Flowing Nightglow
The first entry on this list is Robin's signature Light Cone, Flowing Nightglow. This was designed specifically with Robin's abilities in mind, so it's a perfect fit with her skill set.
With Flowing Nightglow equipped, Robin will gain a stack of Cantillation every time a teammate attacks. Cantillation can stack up to five times with each stack increasing the wearer's Energy Regeneration. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, Cantillation is removed and replaced with another buff called Cadenza. Cadenza provides a massive buff to the entire party's Attack and Damage.
Past Self in Mirror
Though the massive Break Effect buff on Ruan Mei's signature light cone won't do much for Robin, everything else on it works extremely well for the entire party. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies will get a Damage increase for three turns. If the unit equipped with Past Self in Mirror has at least 150% Break Effect when this happens, one Skill Point will be generated.
On top of that, all allies will also get 10 Energy with each wave of enemies that join the battle. Robin already provides substantial buffs for the party and Past Self in Mirror makes them even more potent.
But the Battle Isn't Over
Another 5-star Harmony Light Cone, but at least this one is available in the standard pool and the Starlight Exchange shop. Having this Light Cone equipped will boost the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 10%. This is great for Robin since a lot of her kit revolves are maintaining the uptime of her Ultimate.
But the Battle Isn't Over will also increase the damage of the next ally taking action after the wearer uses their Skill and occasionally recovers one Skill Point. You won't really be able to take full advantage of these effects given how Robin's abilities work but they're still nice to have around.
For Tomorrow's Journey
If you weren't able to bag Flowing Nightglow, there's a good chance you've gotten at least one copy of this 4-star Light Cone. It gives the wearer increased Attack and boosts their Damage after using their Ultimate.
This works extremely well for Robin since her buffs scale off of her Attack and she does deal damage while in Concerto state.
Planetary Rendezvous
You can't go wrong with this 4-star Light Cone when using a team where your main DPS and Harmony unit share an element. With this Light Cone equipped, characters on your team with the same element as the user will get a Damage boost.
As a Physical element character, Robin can make use of Planetary Rendezvous when paired with units like Clara, Argenti, or Boothill.
Best Relics for Robin

Robin's kit doesn't require much from her relics, so you have a variety of options to go with. Here's what you can put on the Physical Harmony unit to get the most out of her buffs.
2-pc Musketeer of Wild Wheat, 2-pc Prisoner of Deep Confinement
Since you're going to want to build Robin with as much Attack as possible, using this build will take advantage of Attack boosts from two separate sets. The two-piece effects from these relics will give Robin a 24% increase in Attack when used together.
Having higher Attack on Robin will make her Concerto state much more powerful as it will give the team better buffs. It will also make the bonus attacks from Robin's Concerto hit harder.
4-pc Musketeer of Wild Wheat
While Robin has a fixed Speed stat in her Concerto state, she can benefit from being a little quicker while she isn't singing her hit single. When outside of Concerto, a faster Robin can help hit Speed thresholds or give the team more Skill points over time and fill her Energy quicker.
One way to get that extra bit of Speed is by equipping the four-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat set. This will give Robin a 6% boost to Speed and have her deal a little more damage with her Basic Attack.
2-pc Musketeer of Wild Wheat, 2-pc Messenger Traversing Hackerspace
This setup accomplishes the same effect as the set above but without the Basic Attack bonus, something Robin doesn't really need anyway. If you have some Hackerspace pieces that have better substats than some of your Musketeer relics, mixing and matching between the two sets will work out just fine.
Swapping out the Musketeer set for a two-piece Prisoner of Deep Confinement setup will also achieve the same effect.
2-pc Sprightly Vonwacq
Equipping Robin with this Planar set will give her an unconditional 5% bonus to Energy Regeneration Rate leading to more uptime on her Ultimate. Sprightly Vonwacq will also advance the wearer's action forward by 40% at the start of battle if they have at least 120 Speed.
The advance forward effect from this set coupled with Robin's Ascension 2 ability will pretty much guarantee that she goes first in every fight, making sure your party gets their buffs right away.
2-pc Penacony, Land of Dreams
Using the two-piece Penacony, Land of Dreams Planar set will also provide its wearer with a 5% Energy Regeneration bonus like Sprightly Vonwacq. However, its secondary effect is more similar to the Planetary Rendezvous Light Cone, boosting the Damage of party members that share the same element as the wearer.
The Penacony set is best used when placing Robin in a team that has a damage dealer who is also of the Physical element.
While grinding out the Caverns of Corrosion, try to aim for relics with these main stats for Robin:
- Body: Attack percent
- Feet: Attack percent or Speed
- Rope: Energy Regeneration Rate
- Orb: Attack percent
- Substats: Attack percent, Speed, general survivability stats
Robin Eidolons
Unlocking Eidolons in Honkai Star Rail can your units from top-tier to being absolutely busted. Eidolons require you to pull for duplicate copies of a unit, so it will require a hefty amount of spending or unbelievable luck.
If you're looking to go all-out for Robin, here's what each of her Eidolons can do:
- Land of Smiles (E1) – All allies get a 24% All-Type Resist Penetration increase while Robin is in Concerto state.
- Afternoon Tea for Two (E2) – Concerto state will also increase allies' Speed by 16% and generate an additional point of Energy from Robin's Talent.
- Inverted Tuning (E3) – Increase Skill level by two and Ultimate level by two.
- Raindrop Key (E4) – Using Robin's Ultimate will dispel crowd control effects from allies and increase their Effect Resistance by 50%.
- Lonestar's Lament (E5) – Increase Basic Attack level by one and Talent level by two.
- Moonless Midnight (E6) – The additional Physical Damage from Robin's Concerto state will have its Crit Damage increased by 450%.
Best Robin Teammates and Synergies

Harmoney units like Robin tend to work well with anyone you team them up with. However, there will be those who can utilize her buffs better than others. Here's a list of units currently in Honkai Star Rail that have great synergy with the celebrity.
Topaz and Numby
This duo likes to pelt enemies with frequent Follow Up Attacks. The pair works extremely well with Robin since Penacony's top star provides additional bonuses to Follow Up attacks. On the other hand, Topaz and Numby's constant barrage of attacks can provide a steady supply of Energy for Robin.
Both Robin and Topaz are can elevate the offense of any team focused on launching Follow Up Attacks, so having them work together will be highly impactful.
Dr. Ratio
Any unit that likes to work with Topaz and Numby will also get a lot of value from teaming them up with Dr. Ratio since the two have such great synergy. Topaz can place debuffs on targets that will make Dr. Ratios Follow Up Attacks more consistent, which is something that Ms. Robin can benefit from.
Since the Intelligentsia Guild member's main source of offense also comes from Follow Up Attacks, he will benefit greatly from Ms. Robin's buffs. On the other hand, his ability to trigger Follow Ups frequently makes Dr. Ratio another great source of Energy for the Physical Harmony unit.
Aventurine
A top-tier Preservation unit that, you guessed it, also has Follow Up Attack capabilities. Though his role on the team will be more focused on survivability, Aventurine's Follow Ups can also deal fair amount of damage.
Of course, this means that Aventurine's Follow Up Attacks can get the full benefit of Robin's buffs and provide her with even more Energy. And though Robin is immune to crowd control effects during Concerto, Aventurine can provide some added Effect Resistance when the pop star isn't singing.
Clara
Clara's playstyle is pretty simple – get hit, launch a Follow Up Attack to counter. So, having her on a team with Robin will provide the same benefits as the units listed above.
However, Clara does have one thing over the other characters in this section. This standard banner unit is of the Physical element, so she can take advantage of Robin using Planetary Rendezvous or the Penacony, Land of Dreams set.
And that wraps up our Honkai Star Rail Robin guide. Though she does seem to favor units that use Follow Up Attacks, this Harmony unit will be a great addition to any lineup in the game.
