Balitanghali: New Timeslot at 10:00 am on GTV with Award-Winning Journalists
Beginning June 3, "Balitanghali," GMA Integrated News' award-winning newscast on GTV, strengthens its commitment to delivering timely and relevant news by moving to a longer and earlier timeslot.
Anchored by award-winning journalists Connie Sison and Raffy Tima, "Balitanghali" now airs a full hour of the latest and biggest developing news, tackling topics close to the hearts of Filipinos, from Mondays to Fridays at 10:00 am. Joining them is "Mare, Ano'ng Latest" segment host and entertainment reporter Aubrey Carampel, who will provide the hottest showbiz news and lifestyle features.
"Balitanghali" is fortified by "Regional TV News," which brings the most relevant and timely stories from different regions across the country. Hosting this segment are veteran broadcast journalists Cris Zuñiga of GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon, Cecille Quibod-Castro of GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak, and Sarah Hilomen-Velasco of GMA Regional TV One Mindanao.
Connie Sison emphasized Balitanghali's dedication to public service for almost two decades: "For nearly 19 years, Balitanghali has been your partner in news. Rest assured that we will continue our efforts to deliver all important events, wherever they may be in the world, with the help of the entire GMA Integrated News force."
GMA Senior Vice President Oliver Victor B. Amoroso highlighted the integration of "Regional TV News" into "Balitanghali," stating, "Viewers can expect reports on local issues and stories that directly impact communities across the Philippines. This is a testament to GMA Integrated News' broader mission and service to the nation. It underscores our duty to serve Filipinos wherever they may be, highlighting that 'Local News Matters,' and ensuring that Filipinos are well-informed about what matters most in their local community."
Raffy Tima echoed this commitment: "With the continuous delivery of news by Balitanghali, you will witness stronger and more extensive reporting from more news teams spread across the country. This is not only part of our desire to deliver accurate information to viewers, but also news that the public can use in their decision-making. This is our broader mission."
Catch "Balitanghali" weekdays from 10:00 am on GTV and simulcast on the digital channel Pinoy Hits. Kapuso abroad can watch the newscast on GMA News TV.
