PascualLab Hosts World Vision Sponsored Youth for Exclusive Plant Tour
Pascual Laboratories, Inc. (PascualLab) recently hosted a group of sponsored youth from World Vision for an exclusive tour of the company's manufacturing plant. The event, which took place on June 4, marked an exciting development in the partnership between the two organizations.
During the tour, PascualLab volunteers and sponsors guided the students, who ranged from elementary to high school, through the company's Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Production areas. The students also learned about PascualLab's history of innovation.
In his welcome speech, SVP and Chief Manufacturing Officer Higinio "Jun" Porte encouraged the students to pursue their dreams, regardless of whether they were big or small, and whether they were in the health industry or not. World Vision Interim National Director Jun Godornes, speaking through Public Affairs Manager David Rioferio, highlighted the positive impact of the long-standing partnership between the two organizations: "Our long years of partnership with PascualLab has significantly helped improve the well-being of the most vulnerable children through programs in health and nutrition, education, including values formation and spiritual nurture, child protection and participation, savings and livelihood, disaster preparedness, and emergency response."
Major Donor Engagement Specialist Monseratt Luna expressed gratitude to PascualLab for providing the children with a new perspective on the world and educating them about the pharmaceutical field and its impact on improving lives. Fellow Specialist Christine Penaojas echoed this sentiment, stating that the well-organized trip had reinforced the shared values of the two organizations.
