Capcom's flagship fighter Street Fighter 6 will collaborate with Seiko for a line of watches featuring three of the franchises' iconic ladies. The limited edition chronographs will feature styling elements based on Chun-Li, Cammy and Juri and will be available sometime in December.
That Street Fighter 6 is getting a watch collaboration with Seiko should be no surprise. Its predecessor, Street Fighter V, also got its own set of watches via Seiko's Seiko 5 line of sports and dive watches. In addition, Capcom has also worked with Seiko to release limited edition watches for its other franchises, such as Monster Hunter. (Read: League of Legends G-Shock collaboration watches revealed)
The upcoming Street Fighter 6 x Seiko watches feature dials with designs based on the colors and themes of the three iconic characters. Chun-Li's features a white, blue and gold dial with gold hands and indices, matching those of her Street Fighter 6 outfit. This theme is also reflected in the subdials, with the seconds subdial in the 6 o'clock position featuring the same bird in the clouds print as her dress.
Cammy's watch, on the other hand, features a British theme, with a Union Jack on the seconds subdial, red and blue highlights, and silver hands. All of these are set on a blue sunburst dial.
Finally, Juri's features a spider motif, with purple highlights on a black dial with a subtle spider design. A more obvious spider is also visible on the silver second subdial.
All three feature Seiko's Lumibrite luminescent material on their obelisk hands and indices. Chun-Li's and Cammy's will have blue lume, while Juri's will have green.
As for technical specifications, all three Street Fighter 6 chronographs feature Seiko's 8T63 meca-quartz caliber. These are hybrid calibers featuring a base quartz movement but with a mechanical chronograph complication. This means that pressing the chronograph pushers provides a mechanical click, similar to that felt in much more expensive purely mechanical chronographs.
Accuracy for the 8T63 is rated at plus or minus 15 seconds per month and the battery life is expected to last 3 years.
In terms of dimensions, case diameter 39.8 mm in diameter with a lug-to-lug length of 47 mm, which should fit on all but the thinnest of wrists. Case thickness is 12.8 mm.
The glass, or crystal, on the watches, is Seiko's proprietary Hardlex mineral glass — not as tough as the sapphire glass on higher-end watches, but tougher than typical mineral glass. Finally, the watches come on steel oyster bracelets, which can be pre-sized when pre-ordering.
Each watch will come with a special acrylic base with acrylic artwork for each character.

The Street Fighter 6 collab watches from Seiko are currently available for pre-order on the PREMICO online shop. Each Street Fighter 6 Seiko watch will retail 59,800 yen (approximately PhP 23,000). Interested collectors should take note that only 2000 of each watch will be produced.
No word if these will be available locally, however, the Street Fighter V collab watches were sold at local Seiko authorized dealers, which have also carried other limited edition. Hopefully, local fans will be able to pick one of these up here.
