Black Rider's Thrilling Finale Week Begins July 22nd

The hit action series "Black Rider," starring Ruru Madrid and Yassi Pressman, will begin its finale week on July 22nd. The show, which won the Bronze Medal at the 2024 New York Festivals and was named the Most Development-Oriented Drama Program at the 18th Gandingan Awards, follows the story of Vanessa (Pressman) as she navigates life in the hands of her enemies. Elias (Madrid) is determined to save her, but with Calvin (Jon Lucas) falling for Vanessa and the arrival of Korean assassin Adrian (Kim Ji Soo), his mission is fraught with challenges.

As the series reaches its climax, viewers can expect thrilling scenes as Senor Edgardo (Raymond Bagatsing) learns the truth about his lost son, Moises (Jak Roberto). Meanwhile, Nanay Alma (Rio Locsin) faces challenges brought on by her brother JoJo (William Lorenzo). The return of Mariano (Philip Salvador), a mysterious figure from Elias' past, adds another layer of intrigue to the storyline.

Ruru Madrid expressed the importance of "Black Rider" in his career, emphasizing his lifelong dream of being an actor and his aspirations to help others in the profession. He also shared his ambitions of becoming a director and producer, and his desire to create an action movie.

Yassi Pressman described her character as "matapang and spoiled," highlighting the emotional range required for the role, which also involved portraying amnesia. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the show and praised her working relationship with Ruru Madrid. Pressman also hinted at upcoming projects in 2025 without revealing any specifics.
