"In view of the attached CONTEMPT ORDER issued by the Committee on Dangerous Drugs on 10 July 2024 against HONG MING YANG a.k.a MICHAEL YANG you are hereby ordered to TAKE INTO CUSTODY and DETAIN HONG MING YANG a.k.a MICHAEL YANG for contempt of the House of Representatives for a period not exceeding Thirty (30) days pursuant to the said Rules Governing in Aid of Legislation of the 19th Congress," sabi ng detention order.
'Yung last information that we have, he is in Dubai," sabi ni Barbers.
Ayon kay Barbers, makikipag-ugnayan ang kaniyang komite sa Bureau of Immigration at Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) upang maipabatid sa ibang bansa na ipinaaresto si Yang.
"Itong arrest order na ito, we will have to provide information to the Immigration and DFA so that the DFA and our Immigration can likewise alarm other countries about the arrest order na inisyu dito sa House of Representatives," paliwanag ni Barbers.
"So that we will be able to track kung nasaan siya kasi maaaring lumipat-lipat na rin siya. So kapag may alarm, it will now provide us information kung saan nagta-travel ito because he will be using definitely his own passport," dagdag pa nito.
