Review
One thing I do enjoy about reviewing is coming across many different titles some of which I may have overlooked. The book I am reviewing today is a self help book by Philip Wride empowering you to embrace a happier and more successful life by following simple steps in key areas.
Sometimes with these self help books I find them a little patronising and kind of get the feeling that I'm being talked down to but this book is written in more of a way of a conversation rather than a lecture, it put me at ease right away as Philip gives you a bit of a background as to how we got to this point.
I like the laid back style of the book that gives you worksheets and different tasks for you to try that gets you into a routine, almost like a fitness regime for your mind. The book lets you learn the various steps at your own pace and you never feel like you're being pushed into anything. Although this book may not be for everyone as it is quite hard to say you need the help but you will definitely find a helping hand within the pages.
This is the first time I've come across Philip Wride and his work but from reading the book you can tell straight away that he is passionate about the subject matter and you get a feeling that he is pulling from personal experience that gives the book substance, a definite recommendation from me.
