Overview
The Child of Chaos changed the world. The House of Prophecy could tear it to shreds.
When Lorre fulfilled her destiny, she didn't expect to survive. In fact, prophecy warns that her continued existence could rip the world apart. However, nothing can deter Galen from trying to coax his mother back home from the Dreaming nor stop the Harbingers of Chaos from trying to transform her into their new goddess.
Searching for the keys to decipher the prophecy leads to the mysterious Home for Wayward Children—but the manor's dark history and long-hidden secrets unlock Lorre's immense power and push her to the brink of madness.
Galen, Dantess, and their friends aren't even sure what side they should be fighting on. Getting his mother back was everything Galen dreamed of, but keeping her alive could doom them all.
The House of Prophecy is the second book in the multiple award-winning YA fantasy series the Chronicles of Chaos. Its tale of inevitable rebellion, immeasurable magic, and imminent divinity is sure to enthrall fans of Rick Riordan, Brandon Sanderson, and George R. R. Martin.

Review
House of Prophecy is the follow on from The Child of Chaos and is part 2 of the Chronicles of Chaos trilogy and given the fact I really enjoyed The Child of Chaos I was really looking forward to this part seeing how the characters have evolved and how the adventure will continue, also the added advantage of having Glen once again narrate the book was definitely something I was looking forward to.
The book follows Lorre as she has fulfilled her prophecy that very nearly has catastrophe knock on effects for the rest of the world but alongside Galen willing to save his mother there is a possibility of survival that will work for all parties but it will take determination and hard work but family can always support each other. But the truth of what is to come may well rock them to their core.
Along with the first book, I really enjoyed the flow of this one and that is down to the reading talents of Glen Dahlgren who definitely has a talent for reading audiobooks, each character is brought to life as you feel every emotion through Glen's voice.
I enjoyed the first book and this book seems to have taken that enjoyment further Glen's voice ignites your imagination and that allows you to engross yourself within the story and you can easily visualise the words that Glen is saying. The story is quite easy going to listen to and certainly entertained me on my cycle to work I am now definitely invested in this world and I can't wait for book 3.
Verdict-Out of 5 ⭐

I give House of Prophecy an excellent score of 5 ⭐ Glen has created a vibrant world that ignites your imagination as you listen to Glen's almost hypnotic narration. Definitely a recommendation from me.
