Hi daily!

6 days to go before SONA! What do you want Marcos Jr. to talk about?

Marcos Jr. promised to focus on food, education, jobs, and fair wages. Halfway through his term, what has Marcos Jr done regarding these so far?

The chat will be moderated by Rappler business and economy reporters Tatiana Maligro and Kaycee Valmonte.

They will help break down what the Marcos Jr. administration has delivered so far, and what still needs attention.

We also want to hear what YOU think! Be a part of the conversation this July 23, and share your thoughts! You can also ask questions or just follow the discussion.

To be a part of the chat, download the Rappler app for FREE on Play Store or App Store, and join the Philippine Politics chat room ahead of time:

How can the Rappler app be better? We'd like to know what you think!

Hi daily!

Have you downloaded the Rappler app? We'd love to hear about your experience so far!

As part of our commitment to providing a better news and community platform, we're conducting focus group discussions to gather user feedback.

To start, we're inviting Rappler app users to answer a short survey. This survey will help us better understand Rappler app users and select participants who will be a good fit for the focus group discussion.

Based on the responses, a limited number of participants will be selected to join our virtual focus group discussions to be held via Zoom

Your input will help us understand what's working well and what needs improvement, so we can enhance the app and its chat rooms, and ensure they meet your needs as news readers and members of our community.

We're eyeing to hold these FGDs on June 28 and 29.

If you're a Rappler app user and if you're interested in joining the FGDs so we can improve the app, please complete the survey by June 20

For any questions about this, please feel free to email move.ph@rappler.com.

Thank you for helping us improve the Rappler app!

Courage on,

Let us know what you *really* think

Hi, daily!

We know that young readers like you have a lot to say about everything under the sun. So why not share them with us?

Community Insights is Rappler's youth-focused survey community, created to amplify the voices and perspectives of today's generation. From culture to current events, your opinions will help shape our reporting and the future of news. The best part is: it's totally free.

Make your voice heard by joining Community Insights today!

What is Community Insights?

Rappler's Community Insights is a survey community where readers like you can share your opinions on key social issues, trends, and topics. When you sign up to join Community Insights, you'll be among the readers we regularly invite to answer short surveys.

Signing up is easy and completely free. All you have to do is complete a short profile survey to get started, and you'll be matched to surveys that fit your interests.

Why is Rappler, a newsroom, doing this?

Through Community Insights, we'll be gathering real feedback from readers like you, which can help us tell more accurate stories and advocate for meaningful issues. It's also a way for supporters to help sustain our work.

How often will I be asked to take surveys?

We'll reach out only when a survey fits your profile. Omnibus surveys, which are regular multi-topic surveys sent to a particular group of people (i.e. for Filipino youth or parents), happen every quarter. You might also receive invitations for special or one-time surveys in between. Taking surveys is always optional, and you can take part as often or as little as you want.

What if I want to leave the panel later on?

You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us at privacy@rappler.com. You will stop receiving survey invitations and communication from us.

If you're interested in sharing your opinions with us, join Community Insights today.

Feel free to share this opportunity with your network!

Hi, daily!

This election day, there's more that you can do besides vote.

For these elections, we want to bring you coverage that amplifies the perspectives of citizens, voters, and communities.

To do this, we're making our coverage interactive through chat rooms in our Rappler Communities app. We encourage concerned citizens, readers, volunteers, and partners to send updates about how election day looks like in your localities. This way, you help keep our community, including our newsroom, have eyes on your barangay, town, or city.

You can also use our chat rooms to send your questions or insights.

Here's where to go in the app to contribute to our live updates:

  • #front-page – Photos, updates from readers and journalists, insights and commentary all about elections
  • #voter-hotline – Questions, concerns, reports of possible election violations for the Commission on Elections
  • #oragon-bicol – Our special chat room dedicated to our Bicol community
  • #facts-first-ph - Fact checks about the elections

The Rappler Communities app is downloadable, for free, from Play Store and App Store.

To stay updated on the 2025 Philippine elections, you can also check out Rappler's 2025 #PHVote Election Site. This is where you can access our one-of-a-kind database of all senatorial candidates, party-list nominees, and local candidates to help you research on who to vote for.

With your help, we can get a clearer picture of how the elections are unfolding in our localities.

See you in the chat rooms!

Courage on,

In case you missed it...

Are you an advocate for the environment? We'd love to hear from you.

If you're a Filipino aged 15 to 30, we'd appreciate knowing what sparked your advocacy and what messages you believe need to be amplified: https://synth.ph/kii?session=climate-change

The survey will be done through an asynchronous online chatroom made by Rappler and Nerve. The chat room will be moderated by an AI bot named Synthia, which will help synthesize your answers. Answers you share in the chat room are private, and will not be accessed by public users.
