英Piriform Limitedは4月29日（現地時間）、定番のシステムクリーナーソフト「CCleaner」の最新版v5.79.8704を公開した。本バージョンでは、空き領域以外も消去してしまうというユーザーからの不具合の報告を受け、一時的に利用できなくなっていた空き領域を復元不能にする機能が復活している。

THE former chairman of the Archdiocesan Commission on Worship and founder of the Society of the Angel of Peace, Msgr. Cristobal Garcia, has died at the age of 69.
A statement issued by his family said he died on Monday, May 10, 2021, while receiving care in Manila for pneumonia, heart failure and acute kidney failure.
"We are currently making arrangements to bring his body home to Cebu, where he will lie in state before burial," the statement read.

A MAN wanted for alleged child molestation was arrested by authorities in Arayat town on Sunday, May 9.
The suspect, identified as Alex Ocampo, 39, was arrested in Barangay Batasan, Arayat after hiding from authorities for some 19 years.

MORE than 80,000 patients from Central Luzon have recovered from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), the Department of Health (DOH) regional office reported on Friday, May 7.
On Friday alone, the agency logged 888 new recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 80,372.
The number is equivalent to 89 percent recovery rate for the whole region, which already posted some 90,337 confirmed Covid-19 cases.

Rick Tocchet will not return as head coach of the Arizona Coyotes, the team announced Sunday. Tocchet's contract expires on June 30, and the Coyotes will begin their search for a new head coach immediately.
Aleksei Sarana Wins His First Titled Arena.

GM Aleksei Sarana won his first Titled Arena on Saturday, finishing a comfortable 14 points ahead of the field. Second Place was taken by IM Minh Le, a Titled Arena mainstay. Third place was GM Zhamsaran Tsydypov. Of note was the differing Berserk strategies employed. Sarana didn't berserk once in 48 games, including one where he had a 750 point rating advantage. On the other side of the spectrum was Le who berserked every game he played.

米Microsoftは5月7日（現地時間）、「Windows 10 バージョン 2004/20H2」との非互換性が確認されていた一部のオーディオドライバーで実施中のセーフガードホールドを解除したと発表した。アップグレードに関する既知の問題は、少なくとも同社が公表している分に関してはすべて解消されたことになる。
