WHILE growing old is a privilege not everyone can enjoy, it also brings its fair share of challenges. Progressive health conditions can affect the quality of life and temperament in old people, and when their immediate families are not equipped to take care of them properly, they end up in homes for the aged.
M Lhuillier Financial Services Inc. showed its appreciation to the "lolos" and "lolas" of Davao City through a love drive. It partnered with the Care for the Elderly Foundation Inc. to share some blessings to the foundation's 53 resident elders.

THE Department of Health (DOH) 7 received a total of 52,800 additional doses of CoronaVac, the Covid-19 vaccine produced by Sinovac Biotech Ltd., on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

THE Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative (Noceco) has announced a drop of P0.2922 per kilowatt (kWh) in its residential power rate for May 2021.
From P10.2921 per kWh in April, its prevailing rate went down to P9.9999 per kWh.
The power distribution utility caters to electric consumers in the southern part of Negros Occidental, from Pulupandan to Hinoba-an.
