AS CAREER landscapes continue to evolve, in artistic industries most especially, it can be challenging to adequately prepare this generation's breed of creatives. Thus, Southwestern University (SWU) PHINMA created the School of Design + Communication, or more commonly known as "sd+c," to mold students into well-rounded professionals equipped for life beyond the classroom.
Founded in 2017, the sd+c has a relatively small student population compared to other universities, meaning, the mentor to student ratio allows for optimal education. Here, where learning is continuous and collaborative, teachers are able to allot ample time for each student's progress.

THE Subangdaku Police Station in Mandaue City has filed a criminal charge against the suspect in the brutal killing of Angelie Lopez Kintanar, the woman whose body parts were recovered in different parts of Cebu last October.

THE Subangdaku Police Station in Mandaue City has filed a criminal charge against the suspect in the brutal killing of Angelie Lopez Kintanar, the woman whose body parts were recovered in different parts of Cebu last October.

The Department of Health (DOH)-Davao Region led the symbolic vaccination rollout of Pfizer-BioNTech at the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).

THE Naval Forces Western Mindanao (NFWM), in coordination with the Bureau of Customs (BOC), seized early Monday, May 17, some P17.5 million worth of smuggled cigarettes off Zamboanga City.
Rear Admiral Toribio Adaci Jr., NFWM commander, said the joint team was conducting intelligence-driven maritime interdiction operation when they spotted the two watercrafts sailing to Zamboanga City.

A TRUCKMAN died while another was injured in a highway accident in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Monday, May 17.
