"Our relationship with the United States will be better and as we speak I think I am at liberty to say we are expecting a call from the president of the United States to president-elect Bongbong…We are expecting his call," ani Atty.
"We will not be exclusive to anyone. The interest of the Filipino people and the national interest comes first and it will never be compromised especially our territorial integrity," aniya pa.
Sa isang mensahe binati rin ni US Secretary of State Antony Blinken si Marcos at sinabing: "we look forward to working with President-elect Marcos to strengthen the enduring alliance between the United States and the Philippines."
"As friends, partners and allies, we will continue to collaborate closely with the Philippines to promote respect for human rights and to advance a free and open, connected, prosperous, secure and resilient Indo-Pacific region," dagdag pa ni Blinken.
