Hold on, didn't the Realme 10 series get released just recently?
It wasn't even an entire year when the Realme 10 series got released and now it's going to become dated and with smaller resale value thanks to the existence of the Realme 11 series. It was first found out through TENAA with a render and design that looks oddly similar to Huawei's Mate 40 series featuring a round camera bump with smaller camera sensors located within the sides.
One of the phones in the series, the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G comes with an elegantly and luxuriously designed back made of leather and coloured in gold. This is no surprise considering it was designed by Matteo Menotto, who was a former designer for Gucci and now leads the Textile Department of Bvlgari.
This design is inspired by the ambience of a sunrise in a romantic city and implements a "soft leather, weaved fabric [that is] handsewn together". This is either marketing talk or Realme is using a premium kind of vegan leather.
Among other teased features of this top-of-the-line midrange phone is yet another super high MP camera. It's a Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor with 200MP resolution but comes with a major upgrade that was absent in the 10 Pro+. The inclusion of Optical Image Stabilization! Last time we saw this was with the Realme 9 Pro+ with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor.
It seems like Realme is complacent about its chipset. The Chinese variant launches with the same Dimensity 1080 chipset as with the previous two handsets. This was revealed in a Geekbench listing of the phone. Under "CPU Information", it says that the phone uses an ARM MT6877V which is the internal name of the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. It comes with 12GB RAM as well.
Stay tuned for the actual specs. What we mentioned here are sourced from tipsters and leakers so it may not be 100% accurate. However, the image showing the Realme 11 Pro+ with its leather back is legitimate as it was sourced from the company's Weibo account.
By the way, promotional materials may tell of a chipset called "MediaTek Dimensity 7050". Don't be confused. This chipset does not exist. This is a rebrand of the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 with no differences.
