LabisS na ikinabahala ni House Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe ang pananahimik ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa mga polisiyang inihayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa kanyang State of the Nation Address (SONA) sa isyu ng West Philippine Sea at Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO).
Mariing iginiit ni Dalipe ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaisa at pagsuporta sa posisyon ng Pangulo partikular sa mga isyu ng pambansang soberanya at kapakanan ng mga Pilipino.
"We should all be on the same boat in supporting the President, especially in relation to the West Philippine Sea issue and the controversies surrounding the POGO operations in the country," ayon kay Dalipe.
Sa kanyang SONA, muling iginiit ni Pangulong Marcos ang matatag at hindi natitinag na posisyon ng bansa na atin ang West Philippine Sea at ang kanyang desisyon na ipasara ang lahat ng POGO sa bansa dahil sa negatibong epekto nito sa lipunan at ekonomiya.
"While everyone is cheering the President for his decisive actions on the West Philippine Sea and POGO, Vice-President Duterte's lack of response is indeed troubling," pagpapatuloy ni Dalipe. "Her silence not only undermines the collective efforts of our government but also casts doubt on her commitment to the nation's best interests."
Hinikayat din ni Dalipe ang lahat ng sangay ng gobyerno, kasama na ang Bise Presidente na ihayag sa publiko ang kanilang pagsuporta sa mga polisiya ng Pangulo at ipakita ang sama-samang pagtugon sa mga isyung kinakaharap ng bansa.
