Inanunsyo ni Kabayan party-list Rep. Ron Salo na inabsuwelto ang anim na Filipino seafarer na inaresto sa kasong drug smuggling sa Turkey.

"DMW (Department of Migrant Workers) and OWWA (Overseas Workers Welfare Administration) are prepared to provide support to our seafarers as they reintegrate with their families and communities. They stand ready to offer medical assistance, counseling, and financial aid to help ease their transition back to normal life," sabi ni Salo.

"This acquittal is not only a victory for the six seafarers but also a reminder of the crucial role our government plays in ensuring justice for every Filipino overseas. We must continue to stand with our Filipino seafarers, whose skills and dedication drive the world's maritime trade," dagdag pa ni Salo.
